Noel Mahon

Director

In 2016 RS Pipe & Civil Contracting (formerly Ross Services) began as a one man subcontractor with his van and tools.

Working as a foreman around Sydney on various sewer/ water projects, Noel, who came from a pipeline background at home in Ireland having worked on all aspects of pipelines for some 16 years, came to Australia in 2011 to work on big pipelines from the Pilbara to the gas fields of Queensland. Noel saw a gap in the market and decided to purchase his own excavator.

RS Pipe & Civil began to grow and started employing full time crews and they completed their first contract in North Richmond, NSW – 3km of 315PE water.

It wasn’t long before RS was offered a major deep sewer project in Victoria and so the company moved its entire operations to Melbourne in 2018.

RS Pipe & Civil has grown to a medium-sized enterprise employing over thirty people including four crews across Victoria.

The company’s asset register has also grown with nearly 20 excavators ranging from 5 tonne to 70 tonne, trucks, trailers and much more.

All RS projects vary from road to paddock projects and they are always delivered to MRWA standards or as required.
